F.A.Q

All Questions and Concerns are Handled with Understanding and Care.
You can also call our office whenever you need anything.

Appointment time: The permanent makeup artist will walk you through what Microblading, is and will talk to you about preferences on shape, color, and modality to determine what your best permanent cosmetic options are.

The artist will measure and mark your eyebrows using several different measuring tools to help achieve the best brow shape. With eyebrow pencils, we draw the shape in accordance with the markings we have made.

We may adjust the shape and thickness as many times as you’d like until we achieve the desired look. We numb the area, choose a pigment best suited for your skin and hair color, then start the tattooing procedure.

If you get keloid scarring, this treatment will NOT be suitable for you. This also applies to all eyebrow appointments. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS as everyone’s result will vary due to skin type, lifestyle, and the initial 10-day care.

Before your Eyeliner Appointment, please remove your eyelash extensions at least two or three days before your eyeliner appointment. If the extensions are removed too close to the appointment, there may be glue left behind on the lash line, which could interfere with the pigment. Your lash extensions can be reapplied after your follow-up appointment.

If you wear contacts, you need to take them out before the procedure and bring your glasses, your eyes may be a little swollen or tender.

Please stop using lash serums for a minimum of 8 weeks prior to your permanent eyeliner appointment. Lash growth serum can make your eyelids too fragile and vascular for cosmetic tattooing. As a result, your eyeliner may migrate.

The length of your appointment time depends on how thick you would like your liner. If you want traditional eyeliner, it can be done in about one hour and a half, including numbing, but if you would like a wing, cat eye, or very thick liner it will take longer.

Numbing cream is applied to the eyelids for 15 minutes before the actual procedure. Once the cream takes effect, the whole process should be pretty painless. However, everyone has a different pain tolerance, which means some people might find the procedure to be minimally uncomfortable, while others may find it to be painful, I have never had a client who needed to stop in the middle of her eyeliner appointment because of the discomfort.

There’s really no downtime. You can leave and go about your daily tasks. You will need to purchase a new tube of mascara which you can use in 4 days. No submerging your head under any living body of water, saunas, or steam rooms as well.

You may experience some scabbing as your liner heals, remember not to pick. Please avoid touching or rubbing your eyes while they heal, so you don’t spread any germs around the tattooed area.

You may exfoliate 3 days before your appointment to remove any dry skin using a lip scrub and Moisturize your lips for the week leading up to the appointment. Please bring your favorite lip color with you to your appointment it can be a gloss, pencil, or lipstick.

*IMPORTANT*

If you are prone to cold sores or have ever had an outbreak in your life, lip tattooing will cause them. We ask that our clients take anti-viral medication a few days prior to their appointment and after the procedure as a preventative. We will be happy to have it called in for you if needed.

There will be swelling, for the first 48 hours, use an ice pack for no more than 20 minutes at a time to reduce swelling. Expect the color to lighten up to 50–70% once the healing process is complete.

Color may appear uneven at different stages of healing. Be patient. This is a process that does not yield immediate results and will need a follow up which is included in the price of your first appointment.

Permanent Makeup does fade and is expected to last 2 to 3 years requiring touch-up appointments. Maintenance is recommended for the best results.

During your appointment, a topical anesthetic is applied to pre-numb the skin. We will choose a highly concentrated pigment that delivers beautiful long-lasting color and we also offer the matching Lip Blush It from Tina Davies to boost your lip color if you choose.

Next, we draw the desired shape so that you can evaluate and make any changes. The procedure takes 2 hours. Once the appointment is completed, your lips will be swollen it is a tattoo, after all, so you will ice them on and off for 2 hours.

Over the next week, your lips will start to heal, meaning they may become chapped, so it’s important to time this carefully around your schedule.

Permanent Makeup sometimes referred to as Micro Pigmentation is a semi-invasive procedure. The skin is penetrated in order for the implantation of pigment to occur. Permanent makeup should enhance your natural features, without giving a "made-up" look.

Topical makeup trends change from season to season, however, having thick lashes and defined brows and lips will never go out of style. Therefore, Permanent makeup is not meant to replace topical makeup. It gives you the advantage of looking natural only better even when you are not wearing conventional makeup.

Strict sanitation and sterilization guidelines are followed. Single-use, disposable needles are used with each application. Pigments are all made from approved compounds and are specifically designed for permanent cosmetics and Microblading use.

We are inspected by the Metro Public Health Department and are Licensed Tattoo artists with a License in Permanent Cosmetics and Microblading.

Is the procedure painful? There are topical numbing anesthetic ointments and creams used. There may be some discomfort, although each individual's tolerance level is different. We will take steps to make sure the client is as comfortable as possible.

A follow-up visit may be needed and is included in the original price. This procedure is done 8 to 10 weeks after the initial application. If you would like more than two applications, you will be charged an additional fee.

Due to demand and out of respect for our artists, please provide no less than 48 hours' notice.

We accept cash, checks, credit card, and debit card payments.
